Pamela's painting of the Crowned Wood Nymph was inspired by his daily visits to our garden.
In the Central Valley of Costa Rica the sun rises within a few minutes of 6:00 every single day of the year. But ... up on the mountain we enjoy these breathtaking sunrises every day at 5:30 AM. In the evening the sun sets at 6:00 PM so we rise early and go off on adventures and then enjoy a relaxing evening of lovely beverages and delicious meals.
Majestic Irazu Volcano sets the stage for our million dollar view and all the drama of the valley below.

The "Green Season" brings the rains that change every plant in Costa Rica to one of a million shades of green and paints flowers on every tree, bush and plant. The mornings and evenings we watch clouds form in our valley and then clear to show us our spectacular view and sunshine. The temperatures cool just a little as the rain comes in. It is never cold and seldom hot.
